Abingdon Time Capsules. – Friday 15th May
Come on a journey with us as we launch a never-been-done-before series of vertical tastings through Abingdon history.
Over the past 19 years, we have been able to keep aside a very limited number of bottles that have been stored in perfect cellar conditions for the sole purpose of one day being able to share our journey, our past, the stories and the vintages with our wonderful clients who have kept us afloat for almost two decades.
These ‘Time Capsule’ events will be themed per wine style and will include a vertical tasting of the different vintages we have produced. It is an extremely limited and special occasion to taste the ageworthiness of our wines, to reminisce on the early days, see how they have matured and developed as well as taste the common thread throughout the wines. These will be intimate dinners with soulful discussion together with the Smorthwaite family. We encourage those with older vintages of their own to bring them along and share in the celebration and connection.
